This page explains what you can and cannot do with the files you buy or download from STLFLEX. In short: you may sell the physical prints you make from our original designs, but you may never share or sell the digital files.

Personal use (all files)

Every purchase or free download includes a personal-use licence. You may:

  • Print the model as many times as you like for yourself, as gifts, or for display.
  • Modify, scale or remix the file for your own use.
  • Share photos and videos of your prints online (we love being tagged!).

Selling physical prints (commercial use)

For all STLFLEX original designs (for example our flexi animals, vases, keychains, Halloween decorations, boxes, organisers and design packs), you may sell physical printed copies of the model, in any quantity: at craft markets, in your own shop, or on marketplaces such as Etsy, as long as you are selling the printed object and not the file.

We appreciate a credit such as “Design by STLFLEX” in your listing, but it is not required.

What is never allowed

  • Sharing, reselling or giving away the digital files (STL, 3MF, PDF or download links), in whole or in part, including modified versions.
  • Posting the files on other marketplaces, file-sharing sites, print-on-demand services or online libraries.
  • Selling the files as part of a bundle, subscription or “print your own” service.
  • Using the files to create other 3D files for sale.

Fan-art models

Some models are fan art inspired by characters from films, games, anime, comics or other brands that belong to their respective owners. These models are for personal use only and may not be sold as physical prints, because we cannot give you rights to characters we do not own.
